Join the Flower & Flame Team Flower & Flame is currently seeking an experienced, passionate and customer-focused General Manager to manage the Company's dispensary operations.
With a strong focus on customer service, the General Manager will lead a team of well-trained cannabis consultants to deliver a unique, high-quality customer experience.
The General Manager will have responsibility for the P&L as well as ensuring the business is in compliance with local and state regulations.
We are looking for:
A General Manager with significant experience managing dispensary operations or similar retail operations An energetic, friendly, positive General Manager who leads by example and who is passionate about helping others An experienced retail leader who has the proven ability to train a staff to provide best in class customer service A strong communicator who can interface with a diverse customer base and staff and who has the ability to present strategies and performance results to the executive team A detail-oriented individual who understands the importance of regulatory compliance Duties and
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service that encourages customer loyalty and results in frequent return visits Manage store opening and closing activities Oversee inventory management and product purchasing to ensure accurate inventory counts, consistent consumer-driven product portfolio, and no theft or loss Review and analyze financial data and reports to determine product promotions, modify strategies to enhance profitability, and grow the business Oversee cash handling and wholesale product receipt in accordance with Company policies and state regulations Write standard operating procedures and ensure that SOPs are adhered to Ensure that the dispensary is safe, secure, sanitary and that all equipment is in working order Attract, hire and retain a diverse team of talented individuals Promote a culture of teamwork Train employees in line with company training protocols Conduct performance reviews of dispensary staff Schedule staff based on anticipated customer traffic Approve staff hours for payroll processing Facilitate inspections Ensure compliance with state and local regulations Collaborate with marketing to develop strategies for increasing social media impact and community engagement Organize and participate in community events and job fairs Provide updates to the Executive Team This position reports to the COO/CFO and CEO
Qualifications:

years of cannabis retail management experience and/or similar retail experience in a highly regulated field Knowledge of cannabis operating systems preferred (Metrc, Meadow, Dutchie) Proven success in driving sales results Ability to analyze financial reports, identify trends and make operational adjustments Ability to manage complex issues in a fast-paced environment Local applicants preferred Minimum of a high school degree required Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate with a diverse group Excellent organizational skills Reliable, professional, and ethical Positive attitude Must have flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical requirements:
Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs be able to stand for long periods of time, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach We offer:
Health, vision and dental insurance benefits Compensation:
$70,000 - $85,000 (depending on experience).
This position is classified as Exempt, and therefore, you will not be eligible to receive overtime pay.
