The Black Horse Pike Regional School District is seeking a Para-professional to offer supportive in-class services to at-risk Multiple Language Learning (MLL - formerly ELL) students, five days a week, seven hours a day, for 185 days for the 2024-2025 school year
REQUIREMENTS:
Substitute Certification required; Bachelor's degree/Teaching Certification preferred.
Fluency in Spanish desired.
The following is a list of expectations for the Para-professional appointed to this position:
A specific list of English Language Learning students will be eligible for this service. Students who demonstrate an inability to achieve at grade level in math and language arts would also be eligible for the tutoring service.
Expected to make contact with English Language Learning teachers, coordinate their lesson planning, provide and acquire resources for English Language Learning classroom teachers, provide classroom reading support in English Language Learning class and other subject area classes, and provide direct and indirect English Language Learning services to parents.
Expected to make all necessary appointments with students who need extra-help.
Maintain a log of hours by date, time, and description to account for all hours. Must sign and submit log upon completion of the school year to Michael Jones, Supervisor of Teaching and Learning.
Tutor students that need remediation.
Per policy 4125, the district will give preference to qualified individuals who are residents of the Black Horse Pike Regional School District.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
